Missouri River Hawken Walnut

The Hawken is a symbol of the period that saw the passage from the long and heavy small caliber Pennsylvania rifles to more practical and powerful Plains rifles, and the abandoning of flintlocks for the far more modern percussion system. The Missouri River Hawken features a faster twist rate in smaller calibers than the Rocky Mountain. Comes equipped with an American Walnut stock, heavy blued octagonal barrel, and case hardened fittings.
