Over-performer
I researched a lot of shotguns after deciding to pursue competitive sporting clays. FAIR wasn't easy to find, might never have found it without an employee at my local shop in Aurora, CO. I agonized over where to invest for this purchase. In the end, I went with my gut and so far I'm impressed. The gun is under-marketed for its feature set: interchangeable extended chokes, right hand palm swell (I imagine you can request left-handed?), fiberoptic front sight, mid-bead, wide tramline (Strada) rib, and clear evidence on the metalwork of hand-regulating. The furniture is high grade walnut with lovely figuring and a matte oil finish. I have only been able to put a few shells through it so far, but it handles recoil like a champ. The Racing line keeps the weight mostly between-your-hands, whereas I'm told the Carerra line has a more toe-heavy balance. It doesn't feel like a 32" gun; it moves crisply and holds a line well. Once I get the comb set up, I know this gun is going to be a monster. In addition, it comes packed in a very nice Negrini case (which looks air travel compatible) with a Team FAIR patch, a couple of decals, 3 chokes (5 total) in a case with a wrench, oil, and care-and-feeding instructions. The internet doesn't do this gun (or manufacturer) enough credit; the fit and finish are amazing and overall, it punches well above its price point.
